The essence of tea ceremony lies in the experience and inner enlightenment. Through tea tasting, we not only can discern the quality of tea leaves, but also appreciate the deeper meaning embodied in the tea ceremony. As Laozi said, "The highest good is like water. Water benefits all things and does not compete." Tea is the closest to the Tao, as it can calm the turbulent water and guide us to inner peace.
In this event, we will invite Macau calligraphy instructors to explore the mysteries of silent tea ceremony with our friends from the Macau Association of the Deaf. In this silent environment, we will use our senses of sight, smell, taste, and touch to feel the ancient spirituality of the tea trees, as well as the tranquility and wisdom conveyed by the tea ceremony.
At the same time, participants will also have the opportunity to use calligraphy to transform their inner feelings into strokes of ink on rice paper. Expressing the inner voice in silence, and releasing the inner self in calmness. Let us use the most primitive senses to rediscover this world, to feel the "sound" hidden behind the hustle and bustle.
"Hello, Sound." Let us use calligraphy to depict this silent dialogue.
